Many hands make light work!

We are going to need a well-knit team of likeminded people to share our vision along with oodles of passion to make this work successfully, therefore we are going to need some assistance!

From the start we've been taking advice & support from Northumberland Community & Voluntary Action based in Ashington who have been helping with empowering me to progress Practical Pioneers project further. As part of membership to Social Farms & Gardens UK, SF&G which is a charity supporting communities to farm, garden & grow together I’ve got access to a knowledge base & supporting resources to aid with learning & delivery of therapeutic care farming practices.  Going forwards further opportunities are available for more in-depth training and ultimately the requirement to be part of the Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme (CEVAS).

What happens next? The next part of the journey is to gather the troops together and create a dedicated team who believe this a worthwhile project. With a team in place the Practical Pioneers project can be progressed further forwards in the right direction.

Does the concept of the Practical Pioneers project & care farming sound interesting to you?
